Wooden Springs Dorper Stud

 
 We are using  Woodensprings Rover,  South African Graded type 4 by Phillip Strauss  in our current joining and we will have his first lambs November 09

 We have recently sold rams to Fairlight Dorper Stud, Macleay Valley Dorpers, Bilgamma Studs, KBT Dorpers and other commercial breeders we wish all our buyers the best , with our WoodenSprings bloodlines.  We  currently have young rams available for sale.

Winrae Bruce 070901 was purchased in partnership with Old Munbilla Dorper stud of Coutts Crossing NSW at the Winrae Annual Dorper stud stock sale on 15th september 2008 and will be one of our stud sires in early 2009

We recently had Ron Van de Merwe from South Africa grade and tag our flock.
All but 1 of full blood ewes graded 4 or 5 and half our Rams presented were typed 4.
For a small stud we are very pleased with these results.  

Wooden Springs recently competed in the 2008 Annual Dubbo show in April. As our first ever entry into any show, we unfortunately did not win any prizes, however we learnt a lot and gained valuable experience from the competition.
We would like to congratulate Amarula for winning the Grand Champion, Dell Dorpers for the Junior Ram [...]

Wooden Springs recently purchased a new Ram from Dell Dorpers in Southern NSW. Ned will be arriving in early November 2007.

Wooden Springs have just had 9 purebred lambs which will be ready to wean in October.
